Pack Application
Ship packages from your warehouse pack stations or stores using Shipium's Pack App.
About the Shipium Pack App
The Shipium Pack Application (Pack App) enables you to ship packages from your pack stations within your warehouse management system. This ability allows for more efficient order fulfillment via streamlined packing processes, standardization, improved labor efficiency, and cost savings. Using the Pack App, you'll be able to create a partial or complete shipment from any origin in your network and create a label via either API call or manual input in the Shipium Console.
The Pack App could be useful for your organization in the following areas:
- Shipping from your store
- When a customer purchases online and you ship the order from your store
- When a customer purchases in-store and you ship the order from your store
- Inventory replenishment (store transfer)
- 3PL (third party logistics) fulfillment
- Standard distribution center pack station workflows
The Pack App supports two authentication methods: single sign-on (SSO) and username/password. If you want to use SSO, see SSO for Your Shipium Account for setup guidance, or reach out to your Shipium contact during onboarding to determine the best fit for your organization.
Create, search, and get orders via the Pack App API
Use cases and sample calls are outlined in the Pack App API documentation:
- Create an order (primary use case)
- Submit an order
- Split an order
- Search an order
- Get an order
When creating an order, you can optionally specify delivery parameters such as desired delivery date, business days of transit, and signature requirements. These settings are stored on the order and automatically applied at pack/ship time.
Create and search orders via the Pack App in the Shipium Console
You can scan barcodes and generate labels to ship packages using the Pack App in the Shipium Console. This process is detailed in the Pack Application (Pack App) documentation.
