DoorDash credential requirements

Prior to shipping with DoorDash, you must configure credentials in the Shipium Console.

You'll provide the following credentials for production and for test mode. Credentials can be provided by DoorDash or generated through the DoorDash Developer Portal.

API credentials

Developer ID . Your DoorDash developer ID
Key ID. Your DoorDash key ID
Signing Secret. Your DoorDash signing secret

Account configuration

External Business ID. A unique identifier for your business, typically your organization's name; this value identifies your organization to DoorDash.
Origin Facility ID. A code representing your warehouse location for package pickup; this identifies where DoorDash should pick up packages from this carrier account. Example: For ACME Corporation's Texas facility number 1, this value might be "ACME-TX-1".
External Store ID. Optional. This field identifies the store location in DoorDash's system. For most implementations, leave this field blank — DoorDash automatically assigns the appropriate value based on your shipment's dropoff address. Only provide a value if DoorDash support specifically instructs you to do so.

Multiple warehouse locations

If your organization ships from multiple warehouse locations, you'll need to configure a separate DoorDash carrier account for each origin facility, with each account using its unique origin facility ID. Your organization will work with DoorDash and your Shipium Implementation team to establish origin facility IDs for your warehouse locations.

Package restrictions

DoorDash has the following package dimension and volume restrictions:

Maximum volume. Less than 6 cubic feet
Maximum dimension. 36 inches for length, width, or height

Packages exceeding these restrictions will not be eligible for DoorDash shipping methods during carrier selection.
