The Carrier & Label Analytics dashboards provide comprehensive visibility into your organization's outbound shipping operations, enabling stakeholders to monitor performance, optimize costs, and make data-driven decisions about carrier selection strategies. These dashboards track key metrics across the entire shipping lifecycle, from rate selection and cost analysis to delivery performance and transit times.

You can analyze shipment data across multiple dimensions including carriers, service methods, fulfillment centers, geographic destinations, and time periods, with configurable filters and timezone selections for flexible reporting.

Carrier & Label Analytics Dashboards

The following dashboards are available in Carrier & Label Analytics. Each dashboard page includes details about available filters and the data you can analyze.

• Shipment Cost Dashboard. Provides visibility into transportation costs across primary cost drivers including base rates, surcharges, zone mix, weight, and dimensional characteristics. Use this dashboard to understand absolute costs, track cost trends over time, identify cost drivers, and support carrier mix optimization and contract renegotiation decisions.

• Shipment Volume Dashboard. Provides outbound shipment volume visibility and trend analysis across carriers, service methods, and geographic destinations. Use this dashboard to understand shipment distribution patterns, identify peak shipping periods, assess geographic concentration, and inform carrier negotiation strategies based on volume mix.

• Delivery Speed Dashboard. Provides insights into ship-to-deliver performance, tracking the average days from shipment to delivery across carriers, service methods, origins, and geographies. Use this dashboard to identify delivery speed trends, compare carrier performance, analyze transit time distributions through quartile analysis, and spot geographic patterns in delivery performance.

• On-Time Delivery Dashboard. Tracks comprehensive delivery performance metrics including on-time delivery rates, transit times, and delivery accuracy across carriers, service levels, origins, and destinations. Use this dashboard to monitor performance trends, identify carriers and routes with performance issues, analyze geographic patterns, and understand how different service levels perform against delivery commitments.

• Selected vs. Evaluated Carrier Selections. Analyzes shipping rate optimization by comparing rates selected by Shipium's rating engine against second-best evaluated alternatives. Use this dashboard to measure cost savings achieved through optimal carrier selection, track rate performance trends over time, and break down carrier portfolio mix and service method usage patterns to demonstrate routing effectiveness.

• Delivery Status Dashboard. Provides real-time visibility into delivery performance for recently shipped packages, tracking shipments from ship date through delivery or exception status. Use this dashboard to monitor delivery rates, identify at-risk shipments by age, understand carrier performance, and proactively address potential service failures before they impact customer satisfaction.
